on a way back from school two like-primary students, Someone and Anyone talk privately.

S : hey,,, can i have your bag? it looks really nice…

A : what do you need my bag for? i only have one.

S : well i have a lot of things in hand, you see… i can use your bag and put all the stuff in. and everything will be simpler.

A : ya, i know it’s a function of a bag. but, as i said earlier, i only have one..

S : don’t worry… i will take a really good care of it… i promise, i will make sure it will be clean and not spoiled.

A : ….

S : if it’s hard for you to bring your stuffs, i could help you. anytime, you can ask me for help.

A : i have already asked help from others for other matters. bringing all my stuffs on my own is one non-dependent thing that i can be proud of…

S : i will be really happy if i can use your bag. i can walk you back home everyday, so i can put my stuffs in my bag and bring your stuffs in my hand.

A : then i need to carry that if i go to school in the morning by myself? sometimes, i wake up late and i need to hurry for school. i can’t get in time if i don’t have my bag.

S : ok… i can wake up earlier, call and wake you up, then pick you up every morning so that i could bring your stuffs with my hand.

A : what a trouble! hum, can’t you get another bag? i can help you find one in the market right there….

S : no, thanks… i just want that bag of yours. the one with color that i like, with those two strings which look very strong. i really like the model of your bag.

A : oh, let me tell you… if it rains, the water will come in to my bag and all the books wet… you won’t like it coz i know you dislike wearing umbrella when it’s raining.

S : it’s ok.. i will start having my umbrella up when it rains. so your bag will always be clean of puddles. besides, it will be good for my flu that i usually have. most important thing, like i promised to take a good care of it =).

A : it’s not that i don’t want to ease your problem… it’s just…

S : what? i told you, i will help you deal all the problems that you will have if you give the bag to me…

A : it’s a special gift from my parents.. i have to keep this bag  very well, i don’t want to disappoint my parents..they already really care about me.

S : i will really take good care of it. you can trust me.

A : i am supposed not to give a special gift to someone else…

S : i will be someone special if i get your bag..

A : ok… with one condition, if anyone else comes for the bag, saying the desperate needs of the bag. please please don’t ever give it no matter they say they need it.

S : i give you my words.

One month passed, someone did really take care of the bag from anyone. Everything was fine. They went to school and came back from school together as what they have discussed together. And the bag always looked new and clean. Someone really take good care of it. Someone washed and cleaned it every week. Now, he has no difficulties in bringing his stuff.

 

Anyone was really happy to be able to help someone and to have the precious gift from her parents clean. Yet, anyone try hard enough to take her own stuff without help from someone. Someone insisted to keep his promise.   

 

On holiday, someone will return anyone’s bag. That anyone’s parents can see the gift. It’s a good idea and can make anyone’s parents happy. At least until someone go back to school.

 

Until one day, anyone moved house to further neighbourhood. That affects not only anyone and her family, but also someone. He needs to walk anyone back then he’ll go back home. It’s very far and took long time to get back home. Walking in a bright sunny day from school to anyone’s house and back to his own house will take 3 hours. It’s tiring. Plus, in the morning he needs to pick anyone up. Yet, he needs to wake up even earlier. But it’s still possible.

 

In the end of the year, someone and anyone went to higher class. Someone was very excited, as he would learn new things. But, he has more load and he needs bigger bag now. Anyone also has more stuffs. So each of anyone and someone brings plastic bag to school for their stuff. More heavy load.

S : since you already have your plastic bag, you don’t need my hand anymore to carry your stuff right?

A : yes, you’re right. do you still need the bag? i wonder maybe i can use for carrying my stuff…

S : uhm well, i still need that… i am already used to it now..

A : ok… so from now on, i can go to and back from school on my own.

S : ok, i will wait for you in school’s gate then

A : ok.

 

so they meet in school gate just becoz someone’s promise coz he borrow anyone’s bag. it’s just the way it is. anyone did complain on how many times changing plastic bag coz it’s not strong enough to bring all the loads. someone did have some complaints too about the load that he needs to carry. Someone can’t offer help to anyone anymore coz he has brought the limit load that he can take. Until one day, someone is happy bringing new bigger bag with all his stuffs in. And anyone doesn’t see the old precious gift-bag. It is gone. Yet, anyone can’t say anything to someone. Someone also doesn’t give it back to anyone. And anyone can’t take it back what has been given for the reasons that only anyone knows.
